Legionnaires disease is a pneumonia like illness caused by the legionella bacteria found in stagnant water and can be fatal. Health & Safety legislation requires businesses to have Legionella Risk Assessments carried out to maintain control measures to minimise the risk of infection.

Legionella bacteria can contaminate and grow in water systems, including hot and cold water systems. They survive low temperatures and thrive at temperatures between 20 - 45°C if the conditions are right.

Our Legionella Specialists will work with you to ensure your water systems are legally compliant and carry out remedial action by removing, cleaning or upgrading any assets that prevent a risk if one is identified to ensure all employees are safe.
